The Next Step in the Evolution of Humanity (Annie Fu) Empty The Next Step in the Evolution of Humanity (Annie Fu)

What is the meaning of life? Why are all these terrible things happening? Is there a God? If so, how could He let all this happen? The answers to these questions are not simple ones – but one thing’s for sure: human beings are facing the choice between evolving and extinction. It is impossible to keep on living in the current way of life – global warming and worsening environmental conditions should have showed us this. What better than a brick wall and a reality wake-up call to show people that? Haven’t societies always evolved in the face of a challenge? Haven’t individuals changed and grown in the face of problems? Is it time to make a return to simplest ways of life – to start with the fundamentals once more.

The human race faces an undeniable problem now – global warming. It’s a manmade problem – humans created it with irresponsible management of wastes and toxic byproducts. The problem was created by the human race – naturally, the responsibility should fall upon the human race to deal with it. After all, the other animals and living things have been in harmony with nature – they’re the ones that have been leading responsible lives. Societies can no longer ignore all these environmental changes that are taking place, nor remain oblivious to the terrible future that would befall the human race – and other organisms alike – if actions are not taken now. Global warming is a result of the human race taking more than they need – offsetting the balance with nature. People are greedy and lazy and they continue to succumb to their inner devilish voices to be greedy and lazy. However, as the “Quantum Shift in the Global Brain” and Al Gore’s speech have acknowledged, people must start taking responsibility or the results would be drastic. God is not responsible for this problem; humanity is. In the face of this immense challenge, people must change and evolve.

Brick walls tell a person to change direction; global warming is telling the human race to change their ways of life. This is but a problem, a stimulus, to allow for more evolution. It takes a big problem for a big change – perhaps global warming is the big problem that would allow the human race to ascend to the next tier – to evolve into more harmonious and sustainable beings. As societies have continuously made adjustments like a pendulum (from Age of Puritans to classicism to Romanticism… etc), the society today has reached its maximum swing. People have developed the scientific part of the brain and the society so much that it is time to swing backwards and look for the spiritual component of ourselves, to try to achieve the middle point – the point of balance. If the human race decides to take action now, this shall mark the point of changing directions instead of flying off the pendulum stand completely.

To achieve that, people must accept the new, the unknown, and have the courage, passion, and curiosity to change. People must all be united to transform – act as one and behave as one. People must realize that they are not islands and cooperate – to accept the mystery and harmony of our cells.

The big problem presented to people are but a chance for people to continue in their evolution. Humans must choose to take this chance to change and transform in order to grow.

Hey Annie Fu,

I really like your perceptions and how you have articulated them.

I like your concept of balance and the intuitive realization that we must become comfortable with the unknown. Your words are energizing.

I hope it is ok to post some links about the harmony of our cells.

Dr. Lipton uses the term wisdom of our cells instead of harmony. Its the same thing in my mind. Your concept and expression of it fits my thinking.
